오바마 대통령은 벤쳐기업들의 중요성에 대해 항상 강조합니다. 미국의 경제를 되살리는 데 핵심역할을 한다고 주장합니다. 인포그래픽에서 최근에 2013년 미국에서 가장 빠르게 성장하는 산업 7개를 선정했습니다. 첫째는 녹생성장 관련 산업입니다. 온난화 문제가 점점 더 드러나면서 환경을 보호하자는 분위기가 커져가는 듯 합니다. 두번째는 개인 건강관리 산업입니다. 사람들의 웰빙에 대한 관심이 큰 것을 알 수 있습니다. 세번째는 온라인 및 기업형 대학교입니다. 점점 더 경쟁이 심해지는 사회속에서 추가적으로 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 온라인 교육과 비싸더라도 대학을 가야하는 분위기로 인해 성장하고 있다고 합니다. 네번째는 소셜 네트워크를 통한 게임입니다. 수많은 사람들이 소셜 네트워크를 쓰는데 이를 이용한 게임이 새로운 트렌드로 자리잡았습니다. 다섯번째는 모아일 앱 시장입니다. 스마트폰과 태블릿이 점점 늘어나면서 모바일 앱 시장도 덩달아 커지고 있다고 합니다. 여섯번째는 3D 프린팅 산업입니다. 이것은 개인이 직접 물건을 만들게 해줌으로써 우리가 무언가를 만드는 방법이 혁신적으로 바뀔것이라고 합니다. 마지막은 제네릭 산업입니다. 약값이 점점 비싸짐으로써 값싼 약을 찾는 수요가 증가하고 있다고 합니다.

Startups are leading the way for America’s economic future.

President Obama is outspoken about the vital role technology entrepreneurship plays in strengthening the U.S. economy.  The American recession may have “officially ended” four years ago, but the economy still has a long way to go. Job and GDP growth remain sluggish, but now halfway through 2013, “the pieces are in place for more growth ahead.” 

Startups are a core part of economic recovery. MyCorporation and Visual.ly created aninfographic detailing the seven fastest growing industries in 2013. The report is based on data collected by market research firm Ibis World, which said “these industries are expected to continue their meteoric rise and far outpace the rest of the economy.” Five of these seven sectors relate to emerging forms of technology — green tech, online education, social games, mobile apps, and 3D printing — underscoring the idea that innovation leads to job creation.

Furthermore, many of the businesses in these areas are contributing in other ways as well. Development and adoption of green tech is instrumental in curbing the growing dangers of climate change and online education can cut down on the massive amount of student debt in this country, while also giving people the skills they need to find gainful employment. 3D printing has led to a revolution in manufacturing and is causing amazing innovations in healthcare.Information is proliferating like crazy and young people are looking places other than the government and large corporations to find opportunity. Or creating it themselves. The cost of starting a business is lower than it used to be and technology is growing and evolving at rapid rates. Out of this chaos and uncertainty, here are the seven fastest growing industries of 2013:
